The apartment
is located in the famous Via del Babuino, in the very
center of Rome, just a few meters from Spanish Steps. This wonderful location
allows you to see most Rome's attractions just by walking from beauty to beauty,
without depending on any kind of transportation: in about 5 minutes you are in
Via Condotti and Via Frattina, Fontana di Trevi and the Villa Borghese Park, and
in ten minutes you can reach Via Veneto and its fashionable cafes and shops.
Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Campo de' Fiori are about 15 minutes walking
distance, while you can walk to St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo in
about 20 minutes. |
You just have to
type the name of an historic address or monument and Rome (e.g.
Fontana di Trevi, Rome) in the below map to see how
close they are to the apartment. |
A little known
tip: you can reach the Roman coast and its nice tourist port in about 45 minutes
directly by subway. There you can visit the ancient Roman city of
Ostia Antica, or
practice sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing in public beaches or modern
fashionable bathhouses. |
